What made you finally do Woodstock as a pop album? If you listen to the element of Evil friends , it sort of has that pop sound. It kinda depends on who you end up working with. We grew up with 90s Hip-Hop, like Missy Elliot and stuff like that, so it was kinda an opportunity for us to be able to make that record we want to make and we talked about it. Also, wanting it to be sort of a nostalgic record. If we were playing this record for ourselves 20 years ago would we be happy with it?

Portugal. The Man is an American rock band based in Portland, Oregon. The group currently consists of John Gourley, Zach Carothers, Spotify Singles.

Composed of six members, Portugal. The band, who are able to fill much larger venues, were playing the historic and intimate venue as a part of the Hilton Honors Concert Series. Prior to entering the stage Beavis and Butthead gave an impressive introductory video with remarks claiming Portugal. The Man and immediately garnered dancing.

Throughout the set, Portugal. It resulted in a fantastical guitar solo, which within the small venue caused the audience to quite literally feel the music. This was the only song which the audience sang along to every lyric, it was a performance by the band and their fans. The crowd was certainly feeling it still as the song got everyone dancing. The majority of Portugal. For this song, in the intimacy of the venue, the emotions of the band was most on display.

Gourley and Carothers met and began playing music together in at Wasilla High School.
